This question is interesting to be analyzed. First of all you shoud understand the difference between state and nation. ETA´s fight is against the spanish nation using the spanish state a an objective. Me, as a spanish revolutionary patriot, would sympathise with their cause if its objective would be the destruction of the spanish state, which I considere my enemy too. But that does not happen in this case. ETA´s ideology is pure communism, their social and national concept is leninism. That´s how they describe themselves, how they declare ideologically themselves. So, supposing that they win the battle, their people would NOT be liberated, they would suffer commnuism with ETA´s ideas in the power. Where´s the liberation? It would be simply another form of tyranny changing capitalism for communism.
ETA attacked last year with a bomb a falangist, national-syndicalist, head office in the near region of Cantabria. Was this act revolutionary? Against the system? NO, they hit a spanish nationalist and revolutionary political movement.
Thinking that the independence is the solution of all the problems is not correct, neither the first step. At the most, a first step but in the wrong direction.
To liberate our people of capitalism (and its consequences), globalisation (and its consequence) and other injustices must be our final aim.
We hate the system, the state but we love our nation, our fatherland.

Ik ben niet onder de indruk van mensen die zich revolutionair noemen maar ondertussen denken dat het gezag hen met een veertje moet aaien.

Yvan, ge kent er werkelijk niets van! De Guardia Civil en hun collega’s overal gebruiken méér dan eens de lafste intimidatietechnieken. Machtsmisbruik is altijd gemakkelijk als je de legale macht bent!

Niet als men ondertussen staat te springen met verklaringen van de mensenrechten en onzin! Als Spanje zou durven deze verklaringen over boord te gooien, akkoord, maar nu werken ze gewoon misleidend! (Net als uw gezaag, Yvan)
